Secretarial Compliance

India International Depository IFSC Limited (IIDI), pursuant to its circular dated March 23, 2026, has mandated all existing QJs/TRQs/QSs/TM-CM/SCCs and SCC Banks holding demat accounts with IIDI to open new demat accounts with a Depository Participant to ensure uninterrupted trading beyond June 30, 2026.

The directive further requires all bullion clients to close their existing demat accounts maintained with IIDI and migrate to new demat accounts with a Depository Participant for trading on India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX), effective July 1, 2026.

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disruption of trading activities on IIBX post the specified deadline, making timely transition essential for all concerned participants.
